Su dimisi\u00f3n se da tras la divulgaci\u00f3n de chats con indicios de corrupci\u00f3n p\u00fablica y manipulaci\u00f3n judicial. Adem\u00e1s pidi\u00f3 a la C\u00e1mara de Diputados su desafuero.<\/h3>\n<div class=\"ArticlePage-actions-wrapper\">\u201cSolicito formalmente mi desafuero, con el fin de someterme al proceso judicial correspondiente. Como ciudadano comprometido con la trasparencia y el respeto al Estado de derecho,\u00a0<b>considero que no hay nada que ocultar y que es mi deber comparecer ante la Justicia<\/b>\u00a0como cualquier otro compatriota\u201d, refiere la nota presentada por el legislador.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Ar\u00e9valo,\u00a0<b>oficialmente pone a disposici\u00f3n del pleno\u00a0<\/b>de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados el retiro de su fuero parlamentario para las investigaciones correspondientes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">\u201cEntiendo que el fuero parlamentario es una garant\u00eda constitucional para el ejercicio de nuestras funciones, pero tambi\u00e9n creo firmemente en la necesidad de rendir cuentas cuando as\u00ed lo exigen las instituciones de la Rep\u00fablica.<b>\u00a0Por ello pongo a disposici\u00f3n de esta Honorable C\u00e1mara mi inmunidad como parlamentario<\/b>, convencido de que la verdad debe prevalecer y confiando en el debido proceso\u201d, sentenci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<div id=\"\" class=\"ads-box \">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"banner-cont\">\n<div class=\"banner\">\n<div class=\"ad-item\">\n<div class=\"adunitContainer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">En principio, el diputado present\u00f3 ante el Jurado de Enjuiciamiento de Magistrados (JEM) su\u00a0<b>pedido de permiso con tiempo indefinido<\/b>, lo que el JEM remiti\u00f3 a la C\u00e1mara Baja para definir otro representante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El diputado Orlando Ar\u00e9valo present\u00f3 su renuncia \u201cindeclinable\u201d como miembro del Jurado de Enjuiciamiento de Magistrados.
